What Caption Studio keeps about you, why, for how long, and who else sees it. The short version: your account details stay; your videos are deleted after a day.

What we keep, and for how long

We do not sell your information, show you advertising, use third-party trackers, or use your videos to train any model.

Where it is processed

Cookies and storage in your browser

One cookie, cs_session, keeps you signed in for 30 days. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. Your browser's local storage keeps preferences such as the timeline density, the language you caption in, and the names list you type — on your device only — and the random id used for the anonymous usage steps above.
